Elizabeth Green Deason

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Elizabeth Green Deason, 88, of Mamou, at First Baptist Church in Mamou at 9 a.m., Wednesday, March 11. Burial followed in the Ortego Cemetery in L’anse Greis.
A loving, mother, sister, grandmother great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend, Ms. Deason died Monday, March 9, 2015, at Savoy Care Center in Mamou.
Survivors include four children, Charles Kenneth Deason and his wife, Kathy, of California, Darryl Wayne Deason and his wife, Annette, of Mamou, Judy Deason Jones and her husband, Eldon, of Sisco, Texas, and Phyllis Deason Iles of Carencro; two brothers, Truman Green of Pittsburg, Texas, and B.F. Green of Natchitoches; one sister, Lavergne Green Gray of Bernice; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Deason; one grandson, Dennis Jones; and one great-great-granddaughter, Alivia Marie Jones.
Pastor Ervin Goodman officiated.
