Funeral services will be held for Annie Lee Vidrine Thomas, 68, of Ville Platte, at Ninth Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Monday, April 6. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Thomas died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas.
Survivors include one daughter, Evanna Thompson of Missouri City, Texas, and her fiancé, Jamal Winston of Pearland, Texas; one brother, Gabriel Vidrine of Ville Platte; two sisters, Lena Mae Lafleur (Gervis) of Ville Platte and Lee Anna Stephens of Plaisance; and a host of other relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Thomas Sr.; one brother, Vinton Vidrine; and one sister, Leatrice Lavigne.
Visiting hours will be observed from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., Monday, April 6, at Ninth Baptist Church.
Pastor Darwan Lazard will officiate.
