Way of the Cross held on Good Friday

A large crowd gathered to participate in the annual Way of the Cross on Good Friday, April 3. The Way of the Cross is an event in which the faithful follow in the footsteps of Christ by walking from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte, stopping along the way to observe stations of the cross. Shown here, participants make their way toward Main Street for the trek to Sacred Heart Church.
