Relay for Life cookoff in need of participants
Evangeline Parish Relay For Life announces that they are looking for chefs for the cookoff and bakers for the bakeoff. April 18, is the 2015 Relay For Life at the Ville Platte High School Football stadium.
Please contact Luke at Teet’s Food Store for cookoff information and registration. For bakeoff registration, please contact Amanda Thille at 831-3566.
For those who will be attending this year’s event, please note that the times have changed. Gates will be open from noon until midnight.
Organizer Connie Lamke said, “Come ride the fire truck, have a paintball zombie adventure, one price fun jumps all day, plenty of food and refreshments, demonstrations throughout the day, Zumba, plenty of activities, dancing and contests. Don’t forget the barbecue cookoff, bakeoff and best boudin and cracklins of Evangeline Parish contest!”
