PINE PRAIRIE - Funeral services were held for Larry Chelette, 58, of Turkey Creek, at Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Prairie at 2 p.m., Friday, April 17. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Chelette died Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at his residence.
Survivors include his loving wife of two-and-a-half years, Cindy Chelette of Turkey Creek; two daughters, Nicole Chelette Vincent and her husband, Jerry, of Estherwood and Shelly Chelette Carter and her husband, Corey, of Pine Prairie; two step-sons, Jason Fontenot Jr. of Pine Prairie and Daniel Fontenot of Turkey Creek; one step-daughter, Angel Fontenot of Turkey Creek; his sister, Theresa Chelette McGoldrick of Smyrna, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Colby Leggett, Angel Carter and Gabrielle Daigle; two step-grandchildren, Gabrielle Fontenot and Gunner Fontenot; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Essie Chelette; and his brother, Cecil Chelette.
