Sheriff names this year's Louisiana Sheriff's scholarship recipient

Evangeline Parish Sheriff Eddie Soileau congratulates Mamou High graduating senior Emily Anne Soileau for being awarded this year’s Louisiana Sheriffs’ Honorary Scholarship (LSHS). Qualifications include academic achievement, leadership and character. Soileau is the daughter of Ranson Paul and Belinda Balfer Soileau. The scholarship recipient plans to attend LSU and study accounting. Sheriff Soileau said the LSHS program “invests in Louisiana’s future and gives something back to the community. This would not be possible without the generosity of Evangeline Parish’s Honorary members.”
