Joseph “Brad” Granger

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Joseph “Brad” Granger, 65, of Mamou, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 12. Burial followed in the First Baptist/Bieber Cemetery.
Mr. Granger died Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army and recipient of two Purple Hearts. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sandra Granger of Mamou; one son, Edward Hank Granger of Iowa; one daughter-in-law, Spring Beaver Granger of Kinder; two brothers, Carl Granger and his wife, Janie, of Houston, Texas, and Edward Granger Jr. of Mamou; one sister, Janice Fuselier and her husband, Jimmy, of Mamou; and four grandchildren, Abby Bamburg, Keegan Granger, Kaden Granger and Ryan Richard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Emma Lou Fontenot Granger; and one son, Joseph B. Granger II.
Father Mark Melancon officiated.
