Careina Ardoin Fontenot

Funeral services were held for Careina Ardoin Fontenot, 87, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 27. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Fontenot died Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
Survivors include three sons, Steve W. Fontenot and his wife, Diane, of Ville Platte, Richard G. Fontenot and his wife, Debra, of Lafayette and Daniel K. Fontenot and his wife, Marge, of Gretna; two daughters, Annette Senac and Ellen G. Broussard, both of Eunice; one brother, Cecil Ardoin of Shreveport; one sister, Earlene Palmer of Ville Platte; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ilford and Edia Fontenot Ardoin; and her husband, Gerald Fontenot.
Father Brian Harrington officiated.
