Claro Mae LeMalle

Funeral services will be held for Claro Mae LeMalle, 88, of Ville Platte, at Ninth Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 7 p.m., Friday, July 10. Burial will be held at the church cemetery at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 11.
Ms. LeMalle died Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include her children, Claro LeMalle-Finley of Frierson, Mary L. Wiliams of Pineville, Patricia L. Hunter of Slidell, Clareka L. Larnette and Yolen LeMalle, both of Ville Platte, Rev. Darius LeMalle Sr. and Nolan LeMalle Sr., both of Lake Charles, and Lionelle J. LeMalle Sr. of Mamou; 45 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Rev. Murphy LeMalle Sr. and Jean Batiste Guillory; three daughters, Theresa LeMalle Smith, Dorothy LeMalle Lewis and Mary Lease; and one son, Lee Elvis LeMalle.
Rev. Darwan Lazard will officiate.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte will be in charge of arrangements.
