Sheryl Ann Quinn Bailey

A memorial service will be held for Sheryl Ann Quinn Bailey, 53, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 7 p.m., Friday, August 14. An additional memorial service will be held for members of her family in September in Ohio.
A loving wife, daughter, sister and friend, Mrs. Bailey died Tuesday, August 4. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Chardon, Ohio, and was a long-time member of the St. Helen’s Unicycle Drill Team from Newbury, Ohio. She was a machinist by trade but also owned a small farm, which she managed with her husband. She loved all of her animals, especially her dogs. She will be remembered for her sunny smile, her infectious laugh and dedication to her craft.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Bailey; her parents, Patrick and Joanne Quinn; two brothers, Patrick Quinn and his wife, Rebecca, and Dennis Quinn and his wife, Cheryl; two sisters, Tamara Quinn and her companion, Sue, and Kelly Quinn; one nephew, John Patrick Quinn and his wife, Kelli; and six nieces, Kate Quinn, Alison Quinn, Brittany Quinn, Avery Fowler, Rachel Hubler and Taylor Quinn.
At the request of the Bailey family, a visitation will be held Friday, August 14, from 5 p.m. until time of services at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty for Animals (ASPCA).
