Diana Fontenot

Funeral services were held for Diana Fontenot, 54, of Reddell, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 26. Burial followed in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery in Mamou.
A loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Mrs. Fontenot died Monday, August 24, 2015, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Darren Fontenot of Reddell; her father; Emile Veillon; two sons, Tyler Fontenot and his fiancé, Valerie Gray, of Baton Rouge and Cameron Fontenot and his fiancé, Kailey Sonnier, of Church Point; one daughter, Kasey F. Amato and her husband, Cristopher, of Baton Rouge; five sisters, Verna Aucoin and Mary Veillon, both of Vidrine, Novella Gill of Springfield, Tennessee, Jeanette Whitacre of Big Cane and Elaine Veillon of Baton Rouge; and one sister-in-law, Cynthia Vidrine of Whiteville. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her three grandchildren, Avery Amato, Drew Amato and Jaxon Fontenot; and four step-grandchildren, Brianna and Peyton Delhommer and Daylen and Bryson Sonnier.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Veillon.
Father Tom Voorhies officiated.
