Troupe d’Evangeline to host pirate and princess party

Troupe d’Evangeline will be hosting a Pirate and Princess-themed event on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the Civic Center Pavilion in Ville Platte. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased from the Ville Platte Chamber of Commerce or the Opelousas Road drive-thru branch of Evangeline Bank.
The short interactive play for children will be followed by a party. Your child can come dressed as a pirate (male or female) or princess or prince! They will enjoy games and cupcakes and be a part of the troupe’s original mini play “Pirates in the Platte.” That’s right - They’ll actually be in the show!
This event is made possible by the Evangeline Tourism Commission and funded in part with a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Acadiana Center for the Arts.
