Funeral services were held for John Burke LaFleur, 72, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Sunday, October 4. Burial followed in the Platin Cemetery.
Mr. LaFleur died Friday, October 2, 2015, at Savoy Care Center in Mamou.
Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Carol Sanchez LaFleur; two sons, Ronald LaFleur and Christopher LaFleur; two daughters, Jonna LaFleur and Sherry LaFleur; one sister, Betty LaFleur Hight; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Kirtly LaFleur Sr. and Anna LaFleur; and two brothers, Don LaFleur and Joseph Kirtly LaFleur Jr.
Rev. Trudy LaFleur officiated.
