Linda Howard Hegab

Funeral services will be held for Linda Howard Hegab, 73, of Ruston, at the Burkhalter Chapel of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston on Friday, October 9. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 10, at the Roseland Cemetery in Roseland.
Ms. Hegab died Monday, October 5, 2015, at her residence. She was born on June 18, 1942, to Henry Howard and Mary Cash Howard in Oakland, California. She graduated in 1963 from the Mather School of Nursing in New Orleans and became a registered nurse. In 1965, she married Dr. El-Sayed H.H. Hegab, and they raised two children together. She was active in church everywhere she lived for and loved the Lord.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Hisham and Beth Hegab of Ruston; six grandchildren, Rachel Hegab, Nathan Hegab and Sarah Hegab, all of Ruston, and Hunter Richard, Erica Clavier and Angel Clavier, all of Basile; her mother, Mary Cash Howard of Gonzales; three sisters, Sharon Blanchard of Amite, Marion Punch of Lafayette and Margaret Dubrueil of Denham Springs; and one brother, Harold Howard of Praireville.
Visitation will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church from 10 a.m., until time of service on Friday, October 9.
Rev. Gary Willis will officiate.
