Darwin F. Manuel

A memorial service was held for Darwin F. Manuel, 47, of Lafayette, at the Affiliated School for the Visually Impaired in Lafayette.
A loving brother and friend, Mr. Manuel died Saturday, September 26, 2015, at his residence surrounded by friends and family.
Survivors include one sister, Amanda Hollahan of Washington; one brother, David Manuel of Dallas, Texas; one brother-in-law, Christopher Hollahan; one sister-in-law, Annette Guidry; one niece, Kaitlyn M. Vidrine; and three nephews, Bryant P. Vidrine, Wesley Manuel and Micheal Uranez.
He was preceded in death by his parents , Bertman L. Manuel and Bernella Manuel.
The family extends personal thanks to all who helped him through his journey with cancer. He knew he was loved. “Gone but never forgotten. Your wings have been given to you, fly high.”
