A memorial service will be held for Carl “Brent” Manuel, 61, of Ville Platte, at the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 6 p.m., today, October 22.
Mr. Manuel died Monday, October 19, 2015, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Manuel of Ville Platte; his father, Joseph “Black” Manuel of Ville Platte; three daughters, Melissa Deville and her husband, Robert, Jesslyn Perrodin and her husband, Jude, and Katie Jo Manuel and Darrel Fontenot, all of Ville Platte; one brother, Michael Keith Manuel of Eunice; and six grandchildren, Anna Deville, Zachery Deville, Ava Claire Bolfa, Landon Perrodin, Ella Blair Manuel and Ryar Rose Fontenot.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Manuel; one daughter, Kimberly Rene’ Manuel; his paternal grandparents, Tommy and Lula Manuel; and his maternal grandparents, Gus and Ollie Fontenot.
Rev. Kevin West will officiate.
