Tournoi youth pageant winners announced

The annual Children’s Tournoi Pageant was held Saturday, September 10, at the Northside Civic Center. Kings and queens, along with the runners-up, were selected in the following categories:
Baby Tournoi Queen: Averie Fontenot, the daughter of Alaina Lee and Johnathan Fontenot of Ville Platte, was named Baby Tournoi Queen. Kynleigh David, the daughter of Jake and Katelyn David of Ville Platte, was named first runner-up; Kelsie Ardoin, the daughter of Hope Guidry and Nicholas Ardoin of Ville Platte, was named second runner-up; and Lyla Christ, the daughter of Logan and Kristie Christ of Mamou, was named third runner-up. David also was named most photogenic.
Baby Tournoi Knight: The title of Baby Tournoi Knight was presented to Waylon Thibodeaux, the son of Scott and Kitty Thibodeaux of Ville Platte.
Tiny Toddler Tournoi Queen: Lyla Deshotels, the daughter of Shea and Ginger Deshotels of Mamou, was chosen as Tiny Toddler Tournoi Queen. Rounding out the Tiny Toddler Tournoi court were Isabella Gradney, the daughter of Burnell and Erin Gradney of Ville Platte, first runner-up; Kenleigh Soileau, the daughter of Chase and Taylor Soileau of Melville, second runner-up; and Anahlee Enicke, the daughter of Ashley Guillory and Shane Enicke of Ville Platte, third runner-up. Gradney also was named most photogenic.
Toddler Tournoi Queen: Brooklyn Fontenot, the daughter of Paul and Sisciley Fontenot of Washington, was selected as Toddler Tournoi Queen. Harper Landreneau, the daughter of Marcus and Ashley Landreneau of Mamou, was chosen as first runner-up to the new Toddler Queen. Landreneau also was named most photogenic.
Tiny Tournoi Queen: The Tiny Tournoi Queen title was awarded to Rylee Sanders, the daughter of Brooke Sanders of Palmetto. Victoria Sonnier, the daughter of Kasey and Stacie Sonnier of Ville Platte, was named first runner-up to the new Tiny Tournoi Queen. Sanders also was named most photogenic.
Little Tournoi Queen: Jillian Mayeaux, the daughter of Wesley and Elizabeth Mayeaux of Mamou, was crowned Little Tournoi Queen.
Deb Tournoi Queen: The title of Deb Tournoi Queen went to Emily Dufour, the daughter of Robbin Dufour and Amy Menard of Ville Platte. Tasza Batiste, the daughter of Chad and Deiodta Batiste of Ville Platte, was chosen as first runner-up to the new Deb Tournoi Queen. Batiste also was named most photogenic.
