Funeral services will be held for J.C. Freeman, 65, of Ville Platte, at True Vine Baptist Church in Grand Prairie at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 7. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Freeman died Tuesday, October 27, 2015.
Survivors include seven brothers, Hampton Freeman Jr. and Dallas Freeman Sr., both of Carencro, and Davis Freeman, Larry Freeman, Harry Freeman, Ellis Freeman and Lee Freeman, all of Ville Platte.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hampton and Mary Collins Freeman; one sister, Octavia Freeman Joubert; and two brothers, Robert Freeman and Ankles Freeman.
Pastor Allen Freeman will officiate.
Williams Funeral Home of Ville Platte will be in charge of arrangements.
