Eunice Williamson

PINE PRAIRIE - Funeral services were held for Eunice Williamson, 92, of Pine Prairie, at Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Prairie at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 10. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Ms. Williamson died Friday, November 6, 2015, at her residence. She loved her Lord, her family, quilting, plants and birds.
Survivors include five sons, Winston Lee Fontenot and his wife, Charlene, of Pine Prairie, Dale Williamson and his wife, Marlo, of Lafayette, Lenny Lee Williamson and his wife, Carroll Ann, of Deville and Derwin Williamson and Trampis Williamson and his wife, Angie, all of Pine Prairie; two daughters, Nita J. Fontenot of Caldwell, Texas, and Janet Lou Cole and her husband, Ricky, of the Crooked Creek community; two brothers, William West of Nashville, Tennessee, and Wilford West of Racine, Wisconsin; three sisters, Verlin Hanson of Biloxi, Mississippi, Virginia Willis of Alexandria and Betty Jean McCann of Tioga; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie R and Zeola West; her husbands, Ferdie Lee Fontenot and J.J. Williamson Jr.; one daughter, Dorothy Cunningham and son-in-law, Donald Cunningham; three brothers, J.B. West, Sam West and Jimmy West; and one grandson, Joel Dixon.
