Marlene Faye West

A memorial service will be held for Marlene Faye West, 68, of Pine Prairie, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 7 p.m., Saturday, November 21.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Mrs. West died Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
Survivors include her husband of 13 years, James R. West of Pine Prairie; one son, Shannon Daigle of Pine Prairie; two step-sons, Barry West of The Woodlands, Texas, and Johnathan West of Opelousas; two step-daughters, Belinda Wyble of Opelousas and Jo Anna Savant of Winnfield; and one brother, Jessie Ortego of Avondale. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren, Kendall Losee, Garrett Losee, Hannah Bourgeois, Dustin Daigle and Brysten Daigle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ella Ortego; and one daughter, Rita Losee.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make donations to the family in memory of Mrs. West.
Rev. David Plunkett will officiate.
