Pearl Attales

Funeral services will be held for Pearl Attales, 97, of Houston, Texas, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Monday, December 21. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Attales died Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was born in Pine Prairie and lived in Ville Platte, except for the final six years of her life, when she lived in a nursing home in Houston, Texas.
Survivors include one son, Wayne Attales and his wife, Chrysanna, of Ville Platte; one daughter, Callie Attales Martin and her husband, Charles, of Houston, Texas; and one daughter-in-law, Theresa Attales of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Attales; and one son, Gerald Attales.
At the request of the Attales family, a visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte from 8 a.m. until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed in Ms. Attales’ honor on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m.
Father Richard Vidrine will officiate.
