VPPD Arrest Reports

The Ville Platte Police Department reported 8 recent booking into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Joseph Fontenot, 18, 105 E. Oak St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 11, 2015 for theft. Fontenot was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
•Holden Leger, 23, 1542 St. John St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 11, 2015 for theft. Leger was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
•Reginald Ben, 36, 216 E. Jefferson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 12, 2015 for no reflective gear, open container, and possession of a schedule I narcotic. Ben was released from jail on a $2,900.00 bond.
•Derek Mathews, 23, 627 Jefferson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 14, 2015 for resisting an officer. Mathews was released from jail on a $750.00 bond.
•Merrel Fontenot, 49, 129 Deville Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 12, 2015 for careless operation, driving under suspension, and switched plates. Fontenot was released from jail on a $2,400.00 bond.
•Rondrekus Soileau, 23, 1069 Robert F. Kennedy St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 14, 2015 for disturbance of the peace and violent conduct. Soileau was released from jail on a $200.00 bond.
•Templeton Guillory, 32, 713 Rozas St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 14, 2015 for possession of drug paraphernalia. Guillory was released from jail on a $2,500.00 bond.
•Gregory Guillory, 35, 713 Rozas St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 14, 2015 for disturbing the peace by fighting. Guillory was released from jail on a $200.00 bond.
