MAMOU - Funeral services were held for John “Steve” Guillory, 54, of Lafayette, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 10 a.m., Monday, January 11. Burial followed in the Platin Cemetery.
A native of Mamou, Mr. Guillory died Wednesday, January 6, 2016, in Lafayette. He was a wonderful son, brother and uncle.
Survivors include his mother, Brenda F. Guillory; two sisters, Rachel Beaux of Rayne and Jennifer Doucet and her husband, Blackie, of Reddell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph O. Guillory.
Father Alphonse Thainese officiated.
