Funeral services were held for Esther Soileau, 99, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 12. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Soileau died Monday, January 11, 2016, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
Ms. Soileau will be greatly missed by her long-time caregiver, Wanda Fontenot of Ville Platte, but will now reunite in Heaven with her husband, Horace Harris Soileau and son, Ray Fontenot.
Father Matthew Bazarre officiated.
