Margaret Bourgeois Welsh

Margaret Bourgeois Welsh, 101, died Monday, January 18, 2016, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
A native of Victoria Harbor, Ontario, Canada, Ms. Welsh became a U.S. citizen in September 1943 at the age of 29. She married William “Bo” Welsh, a policeman from Detroit, Michigan, in Windsor Ontario, Canada, in June 1936.
Survivors include one son, Marvin (Roy) Welsh and his wife, Patricia, (and daughter Heather); one sister, Jenny Dumais of Ontario, Canada; one grandson, Scott Welsh; and three great-grandchildren residing in Denver, Colorado.
