Verna Mae Prudhomme Soileau

A memorial mass will be held for Verna Mae Prudhomme Soileau, 87, of Ville Platte, at St. George Catholic Church in Baton Rouge at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 13.
Ms. Soileau passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016, at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge.
Survivors include one son, Terrell Brent Soileau and his wife, Vanessa, of Brewton, Alabama; one daughter, Melissa Soileau Hanks and her husband, Isaac Louis, of Baton Rouge; and seven grandchildren, Jason Soileau, Hope Soileau, Crystal Dupuis, Brooke Phillips and Emily, Sarah and Ashley Hanks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jenston Soileau; her parents, Ross Prudhomme and Odette McCauley Prudhomme; and two brothers, Elwood Prudhomme and Jessie Prudhomme.
Father Mike Schatzle will officiate.
