Funeral services were held for Earlis “Red” Joseph McDaniel, 76, of Ville Platte, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 6. Burial followed in the Chenevert Cemetery.
Mr. McDaniel died Friday, February 5, 2016, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.
Survivors include one son, David Joseph McDaniel and his wife, Amy, of L’anse Aux Pailles; and one daughter, Mary Marcantel of L’anse Aux Pailles. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Jennifer McDaniel; one brother, John Jerry Deville; and one grandson, Patrick Ray Fontenot Jr.
Deacon Gene LeBouef officiated.
