Funeral services will be held for Jimmie Ardoin, 81, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Friday, March 4. Burial will follow in the B.J. Fontenot Cemetery.
A loving brother and friend, Mr. Ardoin died Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
Survivors include one brother, Nolan Ardoin and his wife, Mary, of Lake Charles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lezy and Ada Ardoin; one brother, Delouis “Joe” Ardoin; and one sister, Priscilla Fontenot.
At the request of the Ardoin family, a visitation will be held Friday morning, March 4, from 8:30 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed in Mr. Ardoin’s memory at 12:30 p.m.
Father Tom Voorhies will officiate.
