Heritage Manor News: Spring activities

There are so many signs that spring is right around the bend. Flowers are beginning to bloom, trees are budding, and the sounds of lawn mowers running and of course the beautiful singing of the early morning birds can be heard. Our outdoor fun will soon begin and everyone is looking forward to the near future of picnics in the park.
This week, we congratulate our March Resident and Employee of the Month. Linda O’Neil is the employee of the month and Leanna Gradney is the resident of the month.
For this first Sunday of the month, Heritage Manor welcomes St. John Baptist Church members for a service in the activity room at 2 p.m. Bingo sponsored by the VVA will be held on Monday evening at 6:30 p.m., happy hour will be held on Tuesday, the resident birthday party will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, bingo sponsored by the Catholic Daughters will be held on Thursday, mass will be held at 10 a.m on Friday, and music by T-Rob Soileau will be enjoyed on Saturday.
Other activities this week include in-room visits, manicures, food committee meeting, exercise, parachute lift and Come Lord Jesus group.
The staff of Heritage Manor welcomes Cecilia Vidrine to the facility.
The staff of Heritage Manor sends get-well wishes to Eleanor Johnson, Agnes Arvie and Eloise Meche.
The staff of Heritage Manor wishes a Happy Birthday this week to Leonard Ardoin, Leanna Gradney and Harry Pitre.
Heritage Manor’s annual award ceremony and Employee of the Year celebration will be held Tuesday, March 8 at 2 p.m. in the activity room. Good luck to all of the candidates.
The annual French Retreat will be held Wednesday, March 9, at the Our Lady Queen of All Saints Family Life Center beginning at 8 a.m. Father Richard Vidrine will lead the retreat, which is sponsored by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Sacred Heart of Jesus Court #1674.
