EPSO Arrest Reports

The Evangeline Parish Police Department reported 25 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Kelly A. Fontenot, 1007 Sand Trap Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 25, 2016 for access of device fraud (five counts). Fontenot was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
•Desiree Beaubouef, 32, 137 Lediana Rd., Washington, was arrested on January 26, 2016 for identity theft. Beaubouef was released from jail on a $3,000.00 bond.
•Keven J. Reed, 32, 1034 Fusilier Blvd., Basile, was arrested on January 27, 2016 for taking of contraband to/from penal institution and possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substance (CDS) (methamphetamine). Reed’s bond was set at $20,000.00.
•Lucas O. Austin, 37, 604 Havery Lebas Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 27, 2016 for identity theft (two counts). Austin was released from jail on a $10,000.00 bond.
•Anthony D. Metrejeun, 19, 2389 Old Basile Hwy., was arrested on January 27, 2016 for aggravated assault with a firearm. Metrejeun’s bond was set at $50,000.00.
•Joseph L. Carpenter, 44, 1623 Belair Cove Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 28, 2016 for no seat belt, driving under suspension, and driving while intoxicated (DWI). Carpenter was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
•Dawn B. Fontenot, 33, 1112 East St. Apt. C, Mamou, was arrested on January 28, 2016 for issuing worthless checks (eight counts). Fontenot was released from jail on a $2,600.00 bond.
•Joseph L. Fontenot, 58, 355 Buller Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 28, 2016 for simple assault (involving domestic) and telecommunication improper. Fontenot was released from jail on a $10,000.00.
•Shannon G. Arvie, 36, 9990 Ave. J, Baton Rouge, was arrested on January 28, 2016 for criminal damage to property. Arvie was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
•Jody L. Lamke, 46, 1049 Apt. D, Pine Prairie, was arrested on January 28, 2016 for disturbing the peace by intoxication. Lamke was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
•Ronald G. Boenig, 54, 1707 Stagg St. Apt. #18, Basile, was arrested on January 28, 2016 for disturbing the peace by loud and abusive language and misrepresentation during booking. Boenig was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
•Blake Smothers, 44, 808 Ash St., Mamou, was arrested on January 29, 2016 for second degree battery and second degree robbery. Smothers was released from jail on a $10,000.00 bond.
•Kirk J. Reed, 40, 1702 Old Basile Rd., Basile, was arrested on January 29, 2016 for taking of contraband to/from penal institution and possession of schedule II CDS. Reed was released from jail on a $20,000.00 bond.
•Jessica L. Patin, 36, 3510 St. Landry Hwy., St. Landry, was arrested on January 29, 2016 for access device fraud over $1,000.00 (six counts) and access device fraud (two counts). Patin was released from jail on a $30,000.00 bond.
•Jessie J. Hartzfields, 35, 210 Brown Lane, Longville, was arrested on January 29, 2016 for failure to yield/stop sign, improper lane usage, expired driver’s license, and DWI (first offense). Hartzfield was released from jail on a $1,200.00 bond.
•Cody A. Peloquin, 19, 2009 Alex St., Reddell, was arrested on January 30, 2016 for unauthorized entry into inhabited dwelling and simple criminal damage to property. Peloquin’s bond was set at $20,000.00.
•Ashley R. Yielding, 35, 5757 Crooked Creek Parkway, Ville Platte, was arrested on January 30, 2016 for speeding, driving under suspension, and switched plates. Yielding was released from jail on a $1,200.00 bond.
•Brian J. Henry, 36, 578 Belair Cove Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 31, 2016 for speeding, driving under suspension, reckless operation, no proof of insurance, failure to signal, and flight from an officer. Henry was released form jail on a $10,750.00 bond.
•Kirby Thomas, Jr., 63, 1098 Three Sister Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on February 1, 2016 for DWI (first offense) and left of center. Thomas was released from jail on a $1,550.00 bond.
•James G. Darbonne, 27, 1206 St. Peters St., Mamou, was arrested on February 2, 2016 for failure to register as sex offender and failure to pay registration fees. Darbonne was released from jail on a $15,000.00 bond.
•Jammar L. Ceasar, 30, 2128 W. Stagg Ave., Basile, was arrested on February 3, 2016 for unauthorized use of an access card and theft under $750.00. Ceasar was released from jail on a $2,500.00 bond.
•Linda L. Fontenot, 37, 2041 W. Magnolia St., Eunice, was arrested on February 3, 2016 for unauthorized use of access card and unauthorized use of a movable. Fontenot’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
•Loni A. Deshotel, 34, 1430 Fifth St., Pine Prairie, was arrested on February 4, 2016 for possession of schedule II CDS. Deshotel was released from jail on a $10,000.00 bond.
•Loni A. Deshotel, 34, 1430 Fifth St., Pine Prairie, was arrested on February 5, 2016 for possession of schedule I (marijuana), possession of schedule II (two counts), and possession of schedule III. Deshotel was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
•Eric S. Rollins, 31, 5782 Hwy. 167 N., Ville Platte, was arrested on February 5, 2016 for illegal use of weapon or dangerous instrument. Rollins was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
