Sonia Ann Gauthier

Funeral services will be held for Sonia Ann Gauthier, 68, of Pearl, Mississippi, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Pine Prairie at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 12. Burial will follow in the Ortego Cemetery in Mamou.
Ms. Gauthier died Saturday, March 5, 2016.
Survivors include three sons, Kevin Gauthier and his wife, Pearl, and James Gauthier and his wife, Barbara, all of Mississippi, and Chad Gauthier and his wife, Rebecca, of Pine Prairie; one daughter, Angela Davidson and her husband, Paul, of Brandon, Mississippi; two brothers, Carl Johnson of Mississippi and Doug Johnson of Vidrine; and two sisters, Linda Rainey of Mississippi and Patricia Picard of Franklin. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Gauthier; one brother, Phillip Johnson; and one grandson, Charles Barnes.
At the request of the Gauthier family, visitation will be held Friday, March 11, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., and will reopen Saturday, March 12, from 8 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed in Ms. Gauthier’s honor Friday evening at 7 p.m.
Father Kenneth Mayne will officiate.
