Sacred Heart softball falls to Notre Dame

The Sacred Heart Lady Trojans took to the field Thursday afternoon against district opponent Notre Dame in a game that was delayed a day because of weather.
Unfortunately for the Lady Trojans, the extra day did not help in preparation for facing the number nine team in the Class 2A power rankings, as Notre Dame rolled past Sacred Heart 15-5 in six innings.
With the loss, Sacred Heart drops to 10-7 on the season and 0-3 in District 5-2A play.
The Lady Trojans were scheduled to play in the South Beauregard tournament this weekend.
