Paul Verbis Soileau

Funeral services were held for Paul Verbis Soileau, 81, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 17. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery in Ville Platte.
Mr. Soileau died Friday, April 15, 2016.
Survivors include his wife, Versie Johnson Soileau of Ville Platte; one son, Rickey Soileau and his wife, Beth, of Ville Platte; two grandsons, Jeremy Soileau and Dustin Soileau, both of Ville Platte; one brother, Kerry Soileau and his wife, Janet, of Ville Platte; and one sister, Bernita Fontenot and her husband, Marshall Nick, of Grand Prairie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Alice Doucet Soileau; and one brother, Curtis Soileau.
Father Darren Eldridge officiated.
