VP Youth and Miss Pageant to be held Sunday May 22

Ville Platte Youth Pageant
The youth and Miss Ville Platte pageants will be held Sunday, May 22, at the Northside Civic Center beginning at 10 a.m.
The doors will open at 9 a.m. for registration.
Entry fee is $35 for ages newborn to 12, which includes photogenic entry. Please bring 5x7 photo on day of pageant. Door entries are welcome 30 minutes prior to competition, with a $10 late fee - no exceptions. A $5 sibling discount is available.
This is a natural beauty contest and Sunday best may be worn. Contestants in the Deb Miss division may wear age appropriate make-up.
Divisions are as follows (age by date of pageant as no combining of divisions or changing age divisions will be allowed):
Wee Baby Queen and King: Ages zero to six months.
Baby Queen and King: Ages seven-12 months.
Tee Nincy Queen and King: Ages 13-23 months.
Tiny Toddler Queen: Age 2.
Toddler Queen: Age 3.
Tee Tiny Queen: Age 4.
Tiny Queen: Age 5.
Petite Queen: Ages 6-7
Little Queen: Ages 8-9.
Deb Miss: Ages 10-12.
Junior, Teen and Miss
Ville Platte Pageant
The Junior, Teen and Miss Ville Platte pageants will be held Sunday, May 22, at the Northside Civic Center beginning at 4 p.m.
Entry fee is $50, which includes photogenic entry. Please bring 5x7 photo on day of pageant. Door entries are welcome 30 minutes prior to competition, with a $10 late fee - no exceptions. A $5 sibling discount is available.
Contestants must reside in Evangeline Parish or attend a school in the parish.
Miss contestants will have an interview beginning at 1 p.m. prior to the stage competition.
Divisions are as follows:
Junior Miss: Ages 13-14.
Teen Miss: Ages 15-16.
Miss: Ages 17-22.
Admission to both pageants is $5 per person and free for children ages three and under.
