Funeral services were held for Mary Louella Laneaux, 82, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Friday, May 27. Burial followed in the Old Ville Platte Cemetery.
Ms. Laneaux died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at her residence.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Laneaux and his wife, Lisa, of Vidrine; one daughter, Jean Wells and her husband, Wayne, of Austin, Texas; one sister, Beverly Manuel of Ville Platte; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Paul Laneaux Jr.; her parents, Olin E. and Ella S. Fontenot; one daughter, Darlene Guillory; two sons, Ricky Laneaux and Norman Laneaux; one sister, Judy Lanclos; and one grandchild, Christopher Soileau.
