PINE PRAIRIE - Funeral services will be held for Billy Dean Campbell, 57, of Pine Prairie, at Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Prairie at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 4. Burial will follow in the Campbell Cemetery.
A loving husband, father, Poppa and friend, Mr. Campbell died Thursday, June 2, 2016, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Celebrate Recovery of Ville Platte. He was the owner of Campbell Grocery of Pine Prairie, and his true passion was cattle farming at Campbell Farms.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mandy Johnson Campbell of Pine Prairie; three sons, Damian Campbell and his wife, Jennifer, of Baton Rouge and Jeremy Campbell and his wife, Erika, John Haas Campbell and adopted son, Terry “T.J.” Campbell Jr. and his wife, Missy, all of Pine Prairie; one daughter, Tara Campbell Lafleur and her husband, Travis, of Ville Platte; three brothers, Dennis Campbell of Pineville and Charles Wayne Campbell and Terry Campbell, both of Pine Prairie; one sister, Carolyn Rowles of Pine Prairie; and six grandchildren, Jalynn Campbell, Luke Campbell, Case Campbell, Halle Lafleur, Bryce Campbell and Christian Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Clara Campbell; one brother, Robert Lee Campbell; and one niece, Wendy Elliott.
Reverends Daniel Holsomback, Johnathon Johnson and Kevin West will officiate.
