VILLE PLATTE – A memorial Mass for Donna Kathryn McCauley was celebrated on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte with Fr. Mitchell Guidry officiating services.
McCauley, 53, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie.
McCauley was known as a sweet and loving person who enjoyed playing games of Uno and Skip-Bo with her stuffed animals in which she won every game. She was very athletic and participated in the Special Olympics in the running and swimming events.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her father Ronald Earl McCauley, Sr., brother Ronald E. McCauley, Jr. and wife Krista of Des Allemands, and her sisters Carmen Sampognaro and husband Joe of Metairie, Renee Manaris and husband Bill of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Phyllis Richards of Burleson, Texas, and Stephanie Dupuis of Mamou. She will also be greatly missed by her 12 nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.
She now rests in Heaven with her mother Betty Wayne Brunet McCauley.

Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
