VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mr. Gene Roger Morein, 75, were held Friday September 2, 2016 in the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel. Father Tom Voorhies officiated.
Morein, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away at his home Thursday September 1, 2016.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Linda V. Morein; daughter Claudia Fontenot and husband T-Joe; brother Wayne Morein and wife Sue, all of Ville Platte; three grandchildren Jeffrey and wife Hallie Coreil, Justin Coreil, Laura Coreil; and one great grandchild Jack Riley Coreil. He is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Florence Fontenot Morein and his first wife Ettavee Morein.
LaVille Funeral Home in Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
