Sheriff’s Office asking for help in finding missing 15-year-old

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance in locating 15-year-old Alyssa Kaitlyn Deshotel.
According to an EPSO press release, on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, Deshotel’s mother Bridgette told investigators that her daughter “left her residence from the 1000 block of Becky Sue Street (in the Easton area) to attend school.”
The mother went on to say that “her daughter was supposed to return from school later that afternoon, but she has not returned.”
The EPSO release stated that “Alyssa has been seen multiple times in the Easton and Ville Platte areas in the parish.”
Deshotel was “last seen wearing her school uniform which includes a grey colored polo shirt, khaki pants and converse sneakers.”
In connection with this situation, the EPSO Investigations Division “has issued a warrant of arrest on Jake Trahon for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.”
Trahon is believed to be “residing in or around the Scott area.”
