VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mr. S.W. “Billy” Prudhomme, 75, were held Friday, September 23, 2016 at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Fr. Mitch Guidry officiated.
Prudhomme, a resident of Ville Platte passed away Wednesday September 21, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center. He was a very good cook, many times being sought after for his food.
He is survived by his daughter Catherine Elizabeth “Beth” Prudhomme Langlois and her husband John; son Sidney W. “Trey” Prudhomme III and his children William Lassere Prudhomme, Laura Catherine Prudhomme and their mother Annekia L. Prudhomme. He is also survived by Patricia Prudhomme; stepdaughter Miki Aucoin; step granddaughters Kiki Aucoin, Layla Aucoin; and sister Carmen P. Nichols. He is preceded in death by his parents Sidney W. Prudhomme Sr.,and Yvonne Dupre Prudhomme.
LaVille Funeral in Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
