MAMOU - Funeral services for Claire Ann Fontenot Fusilier were held Sunday, September 25, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou. Burial followed at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Mamou.
Fusilier, born July 28, 1936, joined The Lord on Friday, September 23, 2016. She is reunited in heaven with her grandson, Gabriel Manuel, and her mother and stepfather, Julius and Edmonia Young.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Carl Fuselier; five children, Angela (Michael) Rozas, David Brent (Vicky) Fuselier, Rudy (Joan) Fuselier, Carla (Sam) Van Neste and Christina (Tim) Knight; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.one brother, Farrell Fontenot of Ville Platte and one sister, Lou Fuselier of Jennings.
Fuselier was a talented artist and musician who loved to learn, laugh, sing, dance, craft, camp, travel and spend time with family and friends.
