Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church Pastor Honored
The Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church of Bayou Chicot will honor their pastor Tillman Ben, Jr., and first lady Jeanita Ben on Sunday, October 9, 2016, with an appreciation severice at 2:00 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Jessie Doulet of Chimneyville Baptist Church. The public is invited to attent this event.

Flea Fly Football Registration held Oct. 10-11
The Ville Platte Lions Club will be holding Flea Fly Football registration for kindergarten and first grade boys and girls under seven years old on Monday, October 10th, and Tuesday, October 11, 2016, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Lions Club Den located on Progress Rd., in the Demonchervaux Subdivision. Equipment and pants will be distributed at registration, so bring your child to registration. Donation is $45. The game will be held on Sunday, October 30th. DAV Chapter 41 and Ladies Auxiliary meeting tonight
The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapt. 41 and Ladies Auxiliary will meet Thursday, October 06, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at the Veterans Home. There will be a supper following the meeting.
