VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Michael “Mike” Rene Mouton Sr. were held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte with Pastor Kevin West officiating. Mouton was buried in the Vandenburg Cemetery in Bayou Chicot.
Mouton, 47, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016.
Mouton was a kind hearted man who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment. His family was his number one priority, his pride and joy, he put his entirety in making sure they were successful. He was a wonderful provider for his family. He was previously employed as a school bus driver for Evangeline Parish and loved ensuring the kids safety to and from school. He was a cattle rancher and was involved in forestry for many years. Mouton will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved this great man.
Mouton leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 30 years, Betty Mouton; mother, Dorothy “Dot” Mouton; sons, Michael Rene Mouton, Jr. and Mark Joseph Mouton; brothers Blake, David, and Mitchell Mouton; sister, Jennifer Mouton Leger; three grandchildren, Braylan, Caiden and Mark, Jr. Mouton joins in heaven his father Howard Mouton.
Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
