VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Roy “Bud” Allen Jr. were Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Bayou Chicot Methodist Church. Allen was laid to rest in the Vandenburg Cemetery in Bayou Chicot.
Allen, a resident of Bayou Chicot, passed away October 28, 2016 in Alexandria at the age of 79.
Allen is survived by his wife of 51 years Francis Allen; his daughter, Adrienne Bozeman and husband, Craig; his son, Charles Allen; grandchildren Maxwell, Martin Alexander, Isabella, Corey, Ryan, and Casey; and four great-grandchildren.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Earl Allen Sr. and Ethel Gahn Allen, his son, Joseph Kyle Allen, and his sisters, Jane DeBlieux and Sandy McBee.
Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
