15 parish students awarded degrees from LSUE at Fall Commencement

EUNICE – LSU Eunice awarded 109 degrees during commencement ceremonies in the LSU Eunice Health and Physical Education Building, with 15 of those degrees being handed out to students from Evangeline Parish.
Pete Burney, retired vice president for Hallmark Cards, was the commencement speaker at the ceremony.
Two of those parish graduates earned Magna Cum Laude honors.
Magna Cum Laude honors students with a 3.5-3.79 grade point average. Those students were Raymond Mendenhall III of Ville Platte and Kalyn Duplechin of Mamou
