MPD searching for theft suspect

The Mamou Police Department is requesting assistance in locating Jacob Jack, who is wanted for theft.
Jack became wanted after security footage showed him, along with Alex Ardoin, selling rims that were stolen off of a vehicle in Mamou at a local recycling business in the area.
Officers believe that Jack may be somewhere in the Eunice area, and they ask that if anyone has information on his whereabouts, to please contact the MPD at (337) 468-5221.
All callers will remain anonymous.
The other individual involved in the crime - Ardoin - was arrested on December 16, 2016 for theft over $750, and has been transported to the parish jail.
At this time, Ardoin remains incarcerated on a probation hold.
