VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Maeise Briley Deshotel, 89, were held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Fr. Glodd officiated.
Deshotel, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Sunday January 1, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.
She leaves behind her loving, husband, Aubrey J. Deshote,l of Ville Platte; sons, Justin Deshotel and wife, Margaret, of Ville Platte, Robert Deshotel and wife, Gwen, of Ville Platte, Aubrey Deshotel Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Opelousas; daughter, Michele Saucier and husband, Eric, of ALexandria; brother, Ronald Briley, of Grand Prairie; sisters, Rose Pitre, of Ville Platte, Wedia Hargroder, of Opelousas, and Anna Lee Courville of Port Arthur, Texas; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Clemence Fontenot Briley, and brothers, Nolan Briley, Tom Briley and Richard Briley.
LaVille Funeral Home in Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
