EPSO Arrests
The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 10 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Paul Leblanc, 40, was arrested on November 23, 2016 for residential contractor fraud. Leblanc’s bond was set at $75,000.00.
• Jacobie Thomas, 24, was arrested on November 25, 2016 for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Thomas’s bond was set at $1,500.00.
• Garrett Miller, 27, was arrested on November 25, 2016 for unauthorized use of a movable, unauthorized use of “access card” as theft, and theft. Miller’s bond was set at $60,000.00.
• Timmie Norwood, 56, was arreted on November 25, 2016 for domestic abuse battery.
• Gracie Barrett, 19, was arrested on November 28, 2016 for no tail lamp, careless operation, distribution or possession of a schedule I narcotic, and prohibited acts (schedule II). Barrett’s bond was set at $30,000.00.
• Shane Fontenot, 26, was arrested on November 28, 2016 for distribution or possession of a schedule I narcotic, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, and resisting an officer. Fontenot’s bond was set at $20,250.00.
• Skylar Lejeune, 30, was arrested on November 29, 2016 for domestic abuse battery. Lejeune’s bond was set at $3,000.00.
• Jerminsky Jones, 23, was arrested on November 30, 2016 for second degree battery. Jones’s bond was set at $50,000.00.
• Cornelius Kaough, 40, was arrested on December 2, 2016 for indecent behavior with a juvenile.
• Carlenski Arvie, 30, was arrested on December 2, 2016 for communicating of false information of planned bombing on school property at a school-sponsored function or in a firearm-free-zone and simple robbery.
