Ville Platte – A Mass of Christian Burial for Ethel D. Guillory was held Monday, February 13, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Father Kenneth Mayne officiated the services. Burial followed at St. Peter’s Cemetery Mausoleum.
Guillory, 90, a resident of Pine Prairie, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her sons, Terryl Guillory and wife, Debbie, and Ricky Guillory and wife, Ginger; daughter, Cassandra Guillory and husband, Nolan; sister, Laura Carraway and husband, Carl; sister-in-law, Theresa Deshotel; brother-in-law, Rudy Laborde; grandchildren, Kelly, Amber, Garrick, Lacy, Ashley and Kevin; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hersey Guillory; parents, George and Odelia Deshotel; sons, Larry Guillory and Gerald Guillory; grandchildren, Quentin Guillory, Julie and Judith Lanthier; brother, Rodney Deshotel; and sister, Beverly Laborde.
Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
