EPSO arrests Pine Prairie teen for theft of dirt bike

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested Jeremy Loga, 17, on Monday, February 13, 2017, for theft of a 2008 KX 250 F Kawasaki dirt bike.
This arrest comes three and a half weeks after Loga was arrested for possession of stolen goods. He was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond the day following his January 25th arrest.
According to an EPSO press release, the dirt bike Loga has now been accused of stealing “was taken from the 1300 block of Forestry Drive in the area of Pine Prairie.”
The release went on to state that Loga is “facing multiple charges, and other possible suspects are being sought” in connection with this crime.
Loga has been charged with simple burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and criminal trespassing. He currently “remains incarcerated in the Evangeline Parish Jail on a $52,500.00 bond, which inlcudes previous warrants.”
Authorities say that this “incident is still undergoing investigations,” and that law enforcement “is currently receiving annonymous information on other possible suspects.”
